Board Development and Fundraising. 
These continue to be the two primary concerns of most non profits with whom we work.  Many operate without a longterm strategic plan to guide their decisions, focusing most of their energies on tactical problem-solving, event fund raising, and annual budget planning. While these are important, not having a road map of where the organization is going is even more so. Otherwise, the organization may function in a daily state of crisis management, putting out fires and dealing with the next major fund raising effort. Under these circumstances, the board can't do its job of guiding the organization, since there is no consensus as to what the future destination should be.

We help nonprofit organizations bring clarity to their thinking, map out long term strategic and yearly operational plans, and facilitate board member accountability and actions that help the organization achieve its future desired outcomes. We do this through a variety of facilitated one-day and two-day sessions that include pre-assigned work designed to get those involved thinking and focusing on a strategic level. Quarterly check-ins with the Executive Director or CEO help to ensure the organization is continuing to use the tools they've learned, and if necessary, we'll suggest booster shots to get everyone re-focused on the future desired state.
