These continue to be the two primary concerns of most non profits with whom we work. Many operate without a longterm strategic plan to guide their decisions, focusing most of their energies on tactical problem-solving, event fund raising, and annual budget planning.
While these are important, not having a road map of where the organization is going is even more so. Otherwise, the organization may function in a daily state of crisis management, putting out fires and dealing with the next major fund raising effort.
